The GHC is sponsoring the gospel group The Birmingham Sunlights, as well as Chef Robert Stehling, to come to Guam to give workshops and performances. The Sunlights are NEA Fellows, and Chef Stehling is a James Beard Winner.
There are two opportunities to see The Sunlights, and one opportunity to taste Chef Stehling’s great southern food. You can do both at the Hyatt on October 4th, for the Eat Your Heritage fundraiser. If you just want to see the Sunlights, they are performing in concert with our very own University Singers at Southern High School at 7pm on October 1st.
You can see either Dr. Cabrera in the Division of Social and Behavioral Sciences, or Troy McVey for tickets to either event. Tickets in advance for the concert are $20 for adults and $10 for students.
