The 52nd National Association for Bilingual Education (NABE) Conference in Portland, Oregon was indeed meaningful! Being able to conduct my literacy presentation & represent UOG’s School of Education was truly an honor. We were also in the midst of Portland’s second-worst recorded snowstorm in history! I was freezing every single day! Nevertheless, I also had the opportunity to connect with and debrief daily with my fellow Guam educators & friends. We look forward to bringing back what we’ve learned to empower our students, and more! Si Yu’os Ma’åse’, and enjoy the following snapshots!
