USO Volunteer Appreciation Party

It was great celebrating and networking with fellow USO volunteers!  I also received the President's Volunteer Service Award in recognition and appreciation for my commitment to strengthen our nation and communities through volunteer service.  Si Yu'os Ma'ase', and we will continue to remain, "The Force Behind the Forces."

I received the President's Volunteer Service Award along with other fellow USO volunteers in Guam.

Happy Easter!

Easter 2023 with the Naputi and Rivera Familia

Effort, Gratitude, and Hope

At the end of the day, remember that your best EFFORT, being GRATEFUL for what you do have, and having HOPE, will make each day a more joyful one.

On Progress

Remember to take it one day at a time, step by step.  After all, a little progress goes a long way.

Healing Prayer

Don't give up!  Trust in the Lord.  Trust that He will heal you and others who most need His help.  Pray for healing.

Letting Go

Sometimes letting go is the hardest thing to do.  However, we must move forward.  Let go & let God.

Happy Easter from USO Andersen!

It was wonderful seeing the smiling faces of children and their families, as they took pictures with the Easter Bunny and engaged in Easter activities at the coloring/craft table.  We also took a quick USO Andersen Family snapshot.  Here's wishing all of you a Happy Easter!

USO Milestone

Serving in the USO is one of the many volunteer activities I participate in as part of my effort to make a difference in our community and support those who serve our country.  I received the USO Indo-Pacific Coin and service award for 500 hours of service on March 24, 2023.  Si Yu'os Ma'ase'!

AULOC C-School Instrumental

The Auxiliary Upper Level Officer Course (AULOC) C-School I attended in St. Louis, Missouri taught by Mark Wilson, BC-TLU and Dave Larkin, BA-TLU this week was instrumental.  I learned about servant leadership, being an agent of change, vision development, team building, functions of the Auxiliary Association, influencing others, investigations, conflict management, diversity, communications, emotional intelligence, transition management, and more. I also networked with awesome fellow USCG Auxiliary leaders who are sincerely passionate about making a difference in their respective communities.  Si Yu'os Ma'ase & enjoy the following snapshots!
