I am deeply honored and humbled to have been named the Oceania District’s Auxiliarist of the Year and to have received various awards for the service I’ve rendered. Believe it or not, I received eight awards and three challenge coins from the COMO, CG-BSX, and DNACO PACAREA. This recognition is not mine alone, but a reflection of the shared commitment, teamwork, and dedication that define our incredible Guam Flotilla and the broader Coast Guard Auxiliary family.
Each one of us plays a vital role in advancing the mission of the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary — from teaching boating safety and supporting maritime operations to mentoring new members and engaging our communities. It is through dedication, spirit, and collaboration that we continue to make a meaningful difference across our island communities and throughout the Pacific.
Standing alongside so many outstanding leaders and volunteers reminds me that our strength lies in unity and purpose. Whether we are conducting vessel safety checks, leading youth outreach programs, making program visits, teaching boating safety classes, or participating in coastal cleanups, our collective efforts ensure a safer and more connected maritime community.
This honor renews my commitment to serve with integrity, compassion, and enthusiasm — to mentor others, strengthen our partnerships, and uphold the values that make the Coast Guard Auxiliary truly extraordinary.
Together, we will continue to soar higher, shine brighter, and serve stronger. Semper Paratus!
